Live Sales Call Feedback: How to Correct Without Waiting Until Monday

Live Sales Call Feedback: How to Correct Without Waiting Until Monday

Feedback on live sales calls: a supervisor corrects a sales representative in real-time

How to give feedback to a sales representative during the call, not after, with the real Vixiees feature that corrects in the moment without the client noticing.

How do you give feedback during a sales call as it happens, not after? By quietly entering the ongoing call and telling the salesperson what to answer, without the customer noticing. Post-call feedback almost always comes too late to correct anything.

Feedback en llamadas de ventas en directo: un supervisor corrige a un comercial en tiempo real

Sales feedback almost always arrives late. A supervisor listens to a call recording days later, notes what went wrong in a weekly meeting, and by then the salesperson has already repeated the same mistake twenty more times. The problem is not the lack of feedback, but the moment it arrives: when it is no longer of any use.

Why post-call feedback corrects nothing

Reviewing a recording on Thursday to comment on a Monday mistake has a fundamental problem: the salesperson has already had three or four days to repeat that same mistake with other customers. The feedback arrives, but it arrives late. It is useful for the next similar call, not for the one that has already been lost.

This carries more weight in three specific moments:

1. A new hire's first week. A newly joined salesperson makes real mistakes in their first calls, with real customers. Correcting them in Thursday's meeting means they spent the whole week making the same mistake.

2. The opportunity that cannot be missed. A major client, the first call. There is no room for "we'll talk about it later": if the salesperson makes a mistake there, the opportunity may never come back.

3. The call that is going wrong. You can tell in real-time that the conversation is going badly. By the time someone reviews it later, they have already hung up.

How live feedback works in Vixiees

Vixiees' Coach on Board feature resolves this by entering the call while it happens, not after:

  • You join any ongoing call from the dashboard, seeing who is speaking at any given moment.

  • You enter silently. The microphone is muted by default: you listen to the conversation as it goes, without anyone noticing.

  • You tell the salesperson what to answer, and the customer does not hear it. For them, the call does not change at all.

  • You leave whenever you want, without disconnecting the call, and move on to another one.

  • It is recorded and transcribed just like the rest, including what happened inside.

The first week scenario: correcting on the live call, not in the meeting

One of the clearest use cases for this feature is onboarding a new salesperson. At Tu Momento, the digital auto insurance company in Mexico that adopted Vixiees as its sales execution platform, a new salesperson starts selling in 3 or 4 days.

"Basically in three, four days we have the new salesperson selling with Vixiees."
Valerio, Head of Customer Success, Tu Momento

The client does not name this specific feature when talking about their onboarding, but it is reasonable to think that correcting on the real call, with the real customer on the other end, instead of waiting for a theoretical training session or the weekly meeting, contributes to that speed: the new salesperson makes the mistake once, gets corrected on the spot, and does not repeat it on the next call. When it makes sense to introduce live feedback into the process

  • Small team: the manager themselves is usually close to the salesperson and can correct on the fly without needing a dedicated feature.

  • Growing team, with frequent hires: every new salesperson goes through a first week of real mistakes with real customers, without anyone seeing it until it has already happened.

  • Team with major accounts or high-value calls: a single poorly handled call can cost an opportunity that never returns.

Does your team also review calls after they have already happened?

Coach on Board is the Vixiees feature that lets you enter any ongoing call and tell the salesperson what to say, without the customer finding out. More than 600 salespeople work daily on the platform (data from vixiees.com, Sept. 2026).

Expert opinion: sales feedback loses almost all its value if it arrives after the salesperson has already repeated the mistake several more times. The real difference is not how much feedback is given, it is when it is given. Joining the actual call, with the real customer on the other side, corrects the behavior at the exact moment it occurs, instead of turning it into a note for a meeting that will happen days later.
